You Provide The Photographs, We Draw Original Portraits
THE PORTRAIT PROCESS:
You
ship us photographs of everyone you want in the portrait. If you have
several pictures of each individual, it will be helpful to ensure the
artist, my husband, James Loveless, can see their eyes. The eyes are
the most important feature on a portrait. YOU know how they look, James
does not, so the eyes must be visible. Try to refrain from using
pictures taken outside where the sun is in their eyes and the eyes
appear dark. Glasses and red eye are also a concern for photographs. If
you provide more than one photograph for each person, please put them
in separate envelopes and put their names on the back of the pictures,
in case he has to ask a question about that specific person. We need
photographs to be at least 5" X 7" or larger. The photographs will be
returned upon completion of the portrait (unharmed).
Our
artwork is impeccable and you will love the portrait! We encourage you
to add a background scene to the original artwork which gives a
distinctive look to the portrait and personalizes it.
