The focus of Marlys Mallet's work is to create a personal vision, not to duplicate what she has seen in her worldwide travels, but to express the magical power of the place and her experience. Whether recording her travels or working more abstractly with ideas and emotions, Mallet continues to explore new ways of expressing herself on canvas. The positive messages of her extensive body of work have found an audience in homes and corporations around the world.

About the Artwork:
A wooded glen becomes a dazzling fireworks display of streaming golden light and confetti-like showers of leaves in Gary Collins’ “Aspen Glow.” Adeptly capturing the feeling of the setting as well as its appearance, Collins strives to reproduce the pleasure of a fleeting moment of color and light by preserving it in his work. Collins, a contemporary oil and watercolor landscape painter with a lifelong fascination of nature and the aspen tree, travels throughout the world, painting outdoors during the summer in France and Italy.

About the Artwork: Delination II
Pietro Adamo’s abstract “Delineation” series fuses a dramatic firestorm of brushstrokes with an architectural array of unconventional shapes and textures. Hailing from Canada, Adamo originally painted realistic landscapes and portraits of Parliament members, until a lifelong passion for abstracts caused him to change course. His textured, dimensional work is created with layers of modeling pastes, gel mediums, silica sand, stucco plaster, acrylic colors, and oil veneers and washes. Adamo also embeds silk-screened photographs in his art, which is displayed in galleries throughout Canada, Europe, Asia and the United States.
Asha Menghrajani’s luminous, glistening artworks are her innovative interpretation of the elusive energy of the spirit. Born in the Philippines, Menghrajani first fell in love with painting when she discovered Chinese watercolor and calligraphy. Experimenting with drawing, fabric design, oils and charcoal, she added texture, photo transfers and geometric forms to her work. Menghrajani’s current technique involves building layers of shape, color and collage elements, and then scraping through the paint to reveal the finished piece. The result is an abstraction with elements of realism, influenced by the multitude of cultures in which Menghrajani has lived.
"Looseness and uncertainty are important to my interpretations of the mysterious energy of the spirit."
